Amateur radio operators who are resident in Scotland may apply for special permission to replace the letter ‘M’ in their prefix with ‘A’ (for Alba, the Gaelic name for Scotland) until 30th November 2009, as part of the “Homecoming Scotland 2009″ celebrations (www.homecomingscotland.com ).
